Raising My Puppy (“the Service”) is owned and operated by Christine Holstad, an individual sole proprietor trading as Hanging Out With Dogs (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you are entering into an agreement with Christine Holstad and you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the Service. Continued use of the Service means you accept these Terms and any future updates posted on this page.

1. What the Service is

Raising My Puppy is an AI-powered chat assistant that provides general puppy care, socialization, training, and behavior-management guidance for new puppy owners. Guests may use a limited number of free mini coaching sessions. A paid subscription unlocks unlimited mini coaching sessions and saved conversation history.

2. Not veterinary, medical, or professional advice

The Service provides general educational information only. It is not veterinary care, a diagnosis, or a substitute for hands-on professional assessment. Responses are generated by an AI system and may be incomplete or inaccurate; you are responsible for evaluating the guidance before acting on it. For medical concerns, aggression, resource guarding, severe separation distress, or any emergency, contact your veterinarian or a certified veterinary behaviorist. You use the guidance at your own risk and remain fully responsible for your animal’s welfare and for the safety of people and animals around them.

3. Your account

• You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to buy a subscription.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or attempting to bypass usage limits or authentication;
• submit prompts intended to generate illegal, hateful, harassing, or otherwise harmful content, or to jailbreak or circumvent the assistant’s safety guidance;
• resell, redistribute, or share access to the Service, or reverse engineer it.

You are responsible for the content you submit, for how you use the outputs, for verifying their accuracy, and for having the rights to any content you enter. We may remove content, filter or refuse outputs, and suspend accounts where necessary. If you believe content generated or submitted through the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and act on valid complaints; repeat infringement leads to account termination.

5. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service, including its software, prompts, documentation, branding, and the Hanging Out With Dogs and Raising My Puppy names and logos. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal puppy-raising purposes. You keep ownership of the content you submit, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate and improve the Service.

6. Service availability

We work to keep the Service running well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and the Service depends on third-party AI and hosting providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Payment, subscription, and refunds

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your card details.

The subscription is billed at US$7 per month until cancelled, and renews automatically each month. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your access ends and your stored conversations may be deleted; you can export or copy your conversations before cancelling.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these Terms.

10. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, and disputes will be heard in the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
